Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: blue v30, Grip Wax:

Air temp -9C when we departed a full P10, -7C on our return to an over-full P10. Grip wax worked well after the requisite 400m before it started working. The weather was surprisingly mild and lots of people were out. Its the first time this season I've seen the FLP ungroomed see pics), but classic tracks were in good shape(although reportedly tough for skate skiers). We saw several people using back country trail 11 and a couple were having a ball on their final descent to FLP. Our return to P10 was very nice, with no problem with speed or control. It should be a very nice ski weekend for us.
