Green Belt

Trails Skied: 10, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: green

This report covers the Larose forest trails. Lightly falling snow as I headed out from P1 on Indian Creek Road. Still last week's grooming with a few cms of fresh snow packed down by a single skier. Just enough new snow to cover up some of the debris, ie leaves, pine needles, etc. Skied the loop and the main trail as far as the ninth concession. Backtracked toward P1 and heard a snowmobile coming up behind me and what appeared to be a dragger making fresh tracks. To my surprise he was actually obliterating the tracks and stopped to explain how the process works. First pack it down and then a second machine lays the tracks. Good to know but had to ski the rest of the way with no tracking. Not complaining, the township does a very good job keeping Larose skiable!
