Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: North Loop, #30, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: Rode GLF Orange, Grip Wax: Guess: Rode VXPS or Rode Violet hard wax

We skied from P7 and did a short workout on the racing loop at Camp Fortune. Ridge is firm with a skiff of new snow on top that made some skating skis really slow. The race course is generally in good shape. If I was being fussy I would say it still has some soft/uneven spots and isn't quite wide enough to have a classic track that doesn't get damaged by skating - but we'll get there.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
