Conditions today are mediocre. Classic tracks have been set over most of the upper trails, but there is a lot of debris on the trails in places, and the base is still thin so it has been scraped off to create more debris in some locations. In a few spots the classic tracks are so far to the side that they are under shrubs and can't be skied. It's still worth getting out though, but we need some fresh snow to renew the trails, there's not much that could be done with them until it snows again.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
