Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #54 (green), #55 (green - shared), #55 (green - alternative), #55 (blue - alternative), Glide Wax: blue, Grip Wax: blue

Skied out of P19 today doing a handful of loops. Everything was freshly groomed and in great shape. Glide was a little slow but perhaps I should have had a colder glide wax on. I opted for what was on the skis and it served me reasonably well.

Parking lot was almost full but I didn't see a lot of people on the trails. Perhaps this was in part due to the colder temperatures (which weren't too bad really) or perhaps all the side trails have finally got enough snow to be groomed meant the trails "swallowed up" (dispersed) the crowds. The only trail that looked questionable was 54 black. I took one quick look at it as I skied up to Lusk lake and saw only signs of one skier bold enough to try their luck. I'll ski the groomers for a bit more before I head down that bc chute.

The sun (at least) was warm, the trails in great shape, no wind chill to speak of.... what more can you want.
