Trails Skied: 1, 2, 2, 6, 8, 12, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

I didn't find it felt that cold out today (was -15 while I was out), it wasn't that windy, and the trees blocked it anyway. I skied the upper trails. Conditions were only fair for classic, as the trails had been set for skate, but were somewhat rough in a lot of places even for skate. There was debris on the trails (leaves, branches)in a lot of places too. It was still definitely worth getting out.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
