Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #3, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Blue

On the initial trek up Fortune Parkway, were faced with cold blustery winds. It is difficult to say if trails had been groomed. Often the tracks were snow filled or not visible. I expect winds were blowing a lot of snow around. We turned off onto Trail 3. This was a good decision as we were out of the wind and the climbing and slogging through snow kept us warm. It is great to see increased snow depths. It was another happy but cold day on the trail.
