Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: polar as binder and green on top
Fresh tracks on the FLP and CP towards the Lookouts. Tracks tended to meander on the way up the FLP and on the way down the single track was sprayed with ice chunks by a passing snowmobile. Had intended to ski CP towards Lac Bourgeois and Black Lake but too many leaves in the ungroomed tracks caused me to turn back towards the lookouts. Also took a hard spill due to a leaf. No fresh grooming on the CP towards the GP nor on Ridge (#1) or Burma (#3) Assume Demsis is waiting for tonight's weather system before re-doing the entire trail network.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
