Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

ROUTE: Gatineau Parkway from P5 to Pink then back up to the Champlain Parkway T and on to a bit past the Mackenzie King Estate Road then back down to P5.

SKATE: Much better than yesterday with the new grooming. Glide was pretty good despite my lack of waxing. The snow was a bit spongy and was getting soft with the warmer temperatures but overall the conditions were very good. Control was very easy despite the relatively fast conditions.

CLASSIC: The tracks, on the downhills, were lightning fast. They were well formed and solid even with the warmer conditions.

TRAFFIC: It appears the holidayers are back to work. P5 was about a quarter full.
