Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #30, #8, #17, #31, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

There was enough snow for backcountry today and I broke track on 8 going out. Someone had skied it yesterday before the new snow and someone else had walked it yesterday, leaving big bootprints. It was pretty all the same. I forgot how much climbing one has to do on #8. Trail 17 had been tracked today and was in good shape. Both trails could use some deeper snow to smooth out the parts of the trails which were washed away in summer rains and which remain a little bumpy. Everyone just keeps to the side for those sections. Booth Hill was creamy and good for laying some tracks.
