Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #24, #40, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: polar

Good to excellent classic conditions on Ridge at both ends of #24 and #40. Tracks were well formed being a mix of coarse powder snow with a few ice chunk spots here and there. I wiped out on a large protrusion of white ice that thought was soft snow descending on the 40 so be careful on the downhills. Polar wax worked very well giving optimal grip and glide. Wax was mostly scraped off upon arrival back at P12. Recommend bringing extra wax or applying a binder.
