Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, MacKenzie-King Rd , Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: blue extra
Good track set grooming from P5 up the GP to CP and MKE this morning. Tracks were a bit on the hard/glazed side but no complaints from this skier. Once again mid-winter conditions this early in the season is a treat. Sunny skies and low wind made for a pleasant ski. One unfortunate soul was injured on the CP and had to be evac'd by snowmobile. Hope it was nothing serious.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
