Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 100, 101 North, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, TCT, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Friday lunch time ski. Lower trails are in good shape for skate! No track set (not enough depth) for classic.

Trail 106 has a couple of rough spots - a bit more snow will fix that. And the three rocks that are poking through have been painted.

Field trails have the odd bit of grass poking through, but no problem for the skis.

The pretzel sprint course is open - get ready to turn and turn and turn!

Get out and ski! These conditions are fabulous for November (better conditions than much of January 2018....)

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
