This was a very short ski to grab a bit of fresh air before having to spend an afternoon and evening indoors. It was a fabulous day, with perfect grooming and sunny skies. The windchill was, however, brutal! If you skied with the wind at your back, you could marvel at the the warmth of the sun. As soon as you changed direction the cold was a shock!!
Those pesky oak leaves were also fewer in numbers today despite the brisk wind.
If you enjoy invigorating weather and can dress sensibly for it, go for it and enjoy a ski!
