Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: Rode Blue, Grip Wax: Rode Multigrade Violet
Not much to say that hasn't already been said about this great November skiing. Fortune parkway had fresh snow on top of a firm base. Ridge Road had been groomed AND TRACKS WERE SET sometime this morning. Waxing was a bit tricky for some reason, with warmer wax than what I was expecting required. In places I was icing up a bit too. Having tracks on Ridge was a treat. There a few thin spots here and there but for the most part it feels like mid winter.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
