Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Vauhti Carrot, Rode Blue

Another beautiful, snowy ski morning. We ventured a ski from P7 and found that Ridge had been machine rolled and coverage was good. My poles touched a few rocks, but my skis didn't. Still safest to use rock skis, but conditions on the trails are improving with 5cm on the ground and still falling at 11am. We did classic, and though there was no set track it was easy skiing in the soft powder. Skate would be possible, but the trail isn't packed out to full mid-winter width so keep your V tight (good practice!) and expect to catch a tip now and then.

Parkways looked to have been recently groomed, so they should be great. We've had 10 days of snow and skiing now, pretty amazing November!
