Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 1, 2, 8, 12, 106, 107, Glide Wax: Last year's blue, Grip Wax: Vauhti Carrot

Skied on Watts Creek trail from Burke Rd. to KN trails. Snow cover on all trails is excellent but rock skis are still advised. Hopefully rolling and packing will start on Saturday morning but I imagine track setting and grooming will have to wait until more of a base has been established. Patience is a virtue.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
