Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #1 (blue), Glide Wax: Vauhti Speed Blue. Rilled., Grip Wax:

Today a skate ski to McKinstry that ALMOST looked and felt like an early mid-winter outing! More great fresh grooming from Demsis to go along with the fresh new snow from Mother-Nature. The morning ski saw a cool breeze, intermittent snow-squalls with the occassional sunshine showing through the overcast. A few relatively small open spots where you'd expect them along the trail and ALMOST no icey patches from P9 to McKinstry. The fresh new powder snow was fairly fast, especially if you got the glide right. Early season cycle training hasn't suffered this much in a few years:-)
