Skate ski to McKinstry. Looked and felt like mid-winter. Great grooming job, given the date! Only a small bare spot at the bench past 24. Snow was hard packed making control a little tricky. The further out you went on 1, the slower it got. Some fresh snow had obviously fallen after the grooming was done. But the slowness was more than compensated by the crisp conditions and blue sky. I cannot recall this kind of conditions in April!
