Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #1 (blue), Glide Wax: LF8, Grip Wax:

Skate skied from P10 to McKinstry. I can only confirm Karl's report below: other than an icy stretch from Huron to Champlain LO (almost bare at Etienne Brule LO - #1 only groomed after Champlain), conditions were really good: fine, sugary snow made for fast glide and good control. Still no bare spots on #1 (getting very close at the bench past 24, but that's to be expected). If temperatures stay reasonable, we may still have a couple of weeks of skiing.
Although I only ventured off trail for a very short stretch, crust skiing looks excellent, pretty much anywhere you can fit your skis.
