Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Short classic ski on Trail 50 past 55 to the cabins and back around noon today. The first 50 feet from P19 was bare, but after that it was snow-covered throughout. Snow conditions ranged from slushy to crusty to icy in spots, but overall pretty good for April. Classic tracks were shallow throughout but manageable. The conditions seemed to improve after I got past 55 - I wish I had more time as the snow coverage seemed to be deeper after that. The hill up to Renaud has a few bare spots but they looked avoidable.
