Trails Skied: Stadium, Classic Loop, Glide Wax: 3 to -3, Grip Wax: -3 to -10 (blue)
ROUTES: Skated the stadiums and did classic in the stadium and out in the park.
SKATE: Excellent conditions in the stadiums. Lots of snow and lots of control. Great for a quick visit and some technique practice.
CLASSIC: Fair at best. Many bare spots, icy track that often disappears and a whole lot of debris. Still passable if you are cautious but not as good as it can be. Having said that, it is remarkable that the groomers were able to recover the park at all.
Mooney's Bay offers skiing inside the Ottawa city limits! There are 5.5 km of groomed trails for classic and skate with some portions lit at night. Perfect for after work. Perfect for the entire family. To view course offerings: Ottawa 2021/2022 Recreation Registration Page.

The indoor facility will be open from mid December through early March (weather permitting), at the following times: 9 am to 9 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday.
