Kudos to the groomers! This might be the twilight for the ski season, so a twilight ski of just about everything at KN was in order. Very good coverage for skate with fast hard snow - the classic track looked firm but glazed. The field trails are holding up quite nicely. The trails in the trees (106, 12, parts of the TCT and 1) are also in good shape. Some bare patches, which are to be expected given the winter we've had - but nothing that required taking the skis off. The TCT south towards Corkstown Rd didn't look groomed, and 107 might be done for the year.

tl;dr - Get out and enjoy good conditions before calling time on the ski season!!!!!

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
