Gatineau Park

Took the fresh, ungroomed trails up - 40 - 2- 21 - 3- 9 - 1 -2 - 40. The backwoods trails were deep and fluffy, and luckily they had been tracked by earlier skiers. On 1 and the flat part of 2, we were experiencing clumping under our skis. The descent down 2 was as good as it gets with lots of snow with which to play.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
