Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: North Loop, Glide Wax: 2 to -2, Grip Wax:

ROUTE: Just the Doldrums today - doing some training.

SKATE: Today is a day when you learn that the right wax makes a world of difference. With lots of new wet snow I thought it would be a bit of a slog but my wax technician did a spectacular job. There was actually good uphill glide today.

CLASSIC: Looked slow especially with pretty much skied in tracks - it was hard to see if there had been any grooming done at all.

TRAFFIC: Remarkably quiet in P8, maybe 20 cars at most. We got there around 1:40 so we may have hit the sweet spot between morning and after work skiing.

Great to meet Foster on the trail today. Good to see his Mom, aunt and cousin too.
