Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #31, Glide Wax: Swix LF6, Grip Wax: Vauhti Violet over Yellow

The Snow Gods were smiling and the whole trail system has received a pretty nice dump of fresh new snow which, when it is groomed, will significantly enhance the skiability of the trails. Today the Wax Gods were not doing their "thing" for me! With constantly falling humid snow and temperature hovering around zero the Vauhti violet was the best I could muster but it just didn't want to let go so there was some icing that slowed the pace. Maybe a bit of a Carrot cover would have improved the glide (Any improvement would have been welcome;-), but I didn't think of that 'til later:-(
