Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #30, #8, #17, #31, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Another great day for backcountry with lots of (almost) fluffy snow. I did the adventurous loop of 8 and 17 which is best taken when it has recently snowed. It was glorious. I was approaching the very steep hill where 8 meets 17 and saw two skiers go by with big smiles on their faces. They were about 30 years younger than anyone else out on a Friday morning. They had come down the steep hill straight - no sissy snowplow for these guys. No wonder they were smiling. I almost remember those days.

So I laid some nice tracks down 31 on my return. That I can still do.
