Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (from #40 to #1), #33, #21, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Did the short loop out of Meech, much like Ian. The snow was clumping on the way up and had to be physically scraped off every 500 m. At the top though - 33, 21, and 2 - it must have been a degree or two cooler and the sticking stopped. We cut trail on 21 and it was about the best time to ski that little twisty stretch with lots of heavy snow to slow you down. The descent of 2 was fast and creamy.

My guess is that the higher backcountry trails today would be just about perfect.
