A fabulous skate ski!! How does Demsis keep doing this, with so little snow?! Bravo!!

There are the usual, unavoidable icy patches leftover from the massive thaw, and a few bare spots on the Champlain Parkway, but even so it's surprising how little the conditions have changed over the last week. In fact, some areas seem definitely to have improved.

One comment: the area of thin icy snow on Ridge (parallel to 24) is not groomed. Because of the way the website is set up, it cannot be separated from other areas of Ridge and is indicated as "groomed". It is ski-able for skating, but not very pleasant. I can't imagine using it for classic! 24 is a better alternative.

We have been lucky to have these overcast conditions and Demsis' daily grooming. The skiing continues!
