Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #5 (green), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: universal klister

Pretty much the same conditions on the GP and #5 from last week. Started with my blue extra skis, zero grip, so went back to the car and got my rock skis with klister, much better... The stretch from Gamelin to just over the St. Raymond overpass is grey ice tracks but nice and snowy afer that for as far as to the Pink Lake climb. #5 tracks were thinner and icier but still fair to good. A few stretches of outside GP track were a rolling washboard of bumps but moving over to the inside solved the problem. Overall We haven't lost much snow coverage as temps don't seem to be going higher than +5c for the rest of the week with no rain in the forecast. Oh, don't forget your park pass, the shack at Asticou was manned, Quebec March break....
