Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, North Loop, #32, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: silver klister

Another beautiful day. Temp was -2C when we left P8 and a cold wind was blowing and sometimes howling, but the trees shielded us for almost all of the trip. Classic tracks were in good shape, but with variable conditions, ranging from firm and hard to firm with a light dusting of soft powder. The klister worked well except in the light powder areas on the north loop. Trail 32 was in good shape between P9 and P10 and FLP was in excellent shape as well. Lots of people were out enjoying the day. There's still an excellent snow base so it looks like at least one more week of great skiing from the look of the weather forecast.
