Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #1B, #2 (blue), #9, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra vr40

Left P10 at 09:40, temp -13C, three cars in lot. Full on return and temp of -6C. All classic tracks were fast, hard and icy. Trails 1 and 1b had intermittent leaf and twig debris. It was a very bright sunny morning and a good mix of classic and skate skiers. FLP condition was good, trail 1 good to fair, 1b fair, 2 fair (with snowmobile grooves) and 9 was awful. I only climbed 9 from Western Shelter because of the dangerous conditions for a downhill run. One or two skiers had decided to walk (see pic) which did not enhance the trip up. The trip back on 1b, 1 and FLP was nice and quick and not too hard at all
In any event, it was a good workout and the sunshine was lovely.
