Conditions are back to perfect. I'm not sure if there was fresh grooming yesterday, but if not, the new fluffy snow and the passage of skiers has repaired the damage done yesterday to the classic tracks. Hardly any deer traffic on the trails, some on trail #8 but not enough to destroy things. The snow is fast enough to make the downhills fun, and fluffy enough to give great control. No exposed ice or debris anywhere.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
