Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #1B, #2 (blue), #2 (from #40 to #1), #3, #33, #40, #20, #21, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra vr40

We left an almost full P12 at 10:15, temp was -8C. Trails were for the most part in good shape, although glide was so-so heading up trail 2. Trail 21 had lots of fresh snow and good poling, as did 20,9 and 33. These back country trails allowed easy steering and control on the downhills. Trail 2 heading back down to P12 was starting to lose its fresh snow and was getting a bit hard packed. Trails 3, 1 and 1b were all in good shape as well, even though there had been no grooming last night. It looks like great weather all week, so head for the hills and enjoy the skiing.
