Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue 40extra vr

We managed to get a parking spot after a 3 or 4 minute wait at P10. Left the lot around 10:40, air temp -2C. The wax worked surprisingly well considering the fresh snow, which was continuing to fall, and a temperature nearing 0C . The tracks were in good but not great shape, but with the busy classic ski traffic they were nice and firm. Skate skiers were suffering a bit on the climb from P10; one of them mentioned to me the surface was loose and grooming was needed. We just had a short run to Shilly Shally and back. P10 was still full on our return, P9 was about 85% full and P8 was full.
