Green Belt

Trails Skied: 10, 50, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Skied the eastern trails of the Larose Forest in the afternoon from P2 near Bourget. The classic only tracks from P2 to the chalet were fair to good, still holding up reasonably well although a little soft and slushy in the open, sunlit portions of the trail. Took the shared trail back to P2 and the classic track was in fair to poor condition - very shallow throughout and totally deteriorated in some spots. The open section east of the new chalet near the bench was especially rough - very slushy with bare ground visible is several spots that required jumping out of the tracks to ski in the skate section of the trail. We need some help from Mother Nature - more snow and less ice melting into slush would be good!
