Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: green vr20

-20C when we left P10 at 11:30. Snow was coming down and wind had obscured tracks in some areas. Glide was slow on FLP partly because of my waxing (I used a blue kicker, not a good idea today). I had assumed the temperature would climb, but it only went upto about -19C while we were there. Conditions were better on trail 1, even though the classic tracks were so-so. Skate skiers were having a tough time with their track apparently, with lots of fresh unpacked snow. Always good to wear lots of layers and a balaclava in these conditions. A lovely day all the same. We even got some sunshine on the return trip.
