Dec 29 (7M, 3w) by Tom Conklin from Terry Fox
Trails Skied: Stadium, Skate Loop [5km], Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
SKATE: Pretty good conditions with recent grooming. There are quite significant truck or big vehicle ruts all over the skate track, but they can be pretty easily avoided.
Because of the extreme cold the snow is quite slow.

TRAFFIC: There were very few people this afternoon, perhaps one other skater. There were two or three small groups of classic skiers, maybe a total of 15 people.

WEATHER: It was cold of course, but layering-up made it fairly comfortable. I skied for maybe 40 minutes and was starting to get cold hands and feet.
