I agree with Garry’s assessment except that I had a lovely ski and stayed out for hours. Classic on the grass and anywhere it was compacted was quite lovely. The tracksetting was really a waste of time, gas and parkway space. A shame to plow away freshly fallen snow. Anyway, great ski, and looking forward to lots more in a day or two.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
