Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra v40

A quick and very enjoyable run up to Huron Shelter and back. Left a quiet P10 at 10:30, air temp -7C and a bit of wind. I did think of heading along 3 to Huron, but the track was not in good shape, unlike when I passed it on the return (see pic). The classic and skate tracks on FLP and 1 were in very good shape. The slightly moist classic tracks were moderately fast and downhill control was very easy. Lots of people were out, including a fairly large and happy school group I encountered at Huron.
