Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #1B, #2 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra v40

Left an uncrowded P10 at 10:40. Air temp was -15C. The wax worked well on the very hard classic tracks. I stayed on the excellent main trails as even 3 looked like it was unused and a bit too risky, with reportedly very hard corduroy. Trails such as 9 and 11 were just hard sheets of snow and had not been skied upon today. The FLP and trails 1, 1b and 2 were extremely fast; 1 and 1b had leaves in the classic tracks intermittently. The return run down FLP required covering-up the face as it was a bit nippy when moving fast.
