Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #40, #1 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR30 at the beginning

Great ski in the park this morning! All freshly groomed from P12 and along ridge road. It was snowing lightly when we got there and had just started to fill the tracks a bit. The side of the trails were in some parts a bit on the soft side so you pole would sink in, but nothing bad.

It was actually warmer (-11 at arrival) than in Ottawa, so my wax wasn't the perfect choice since I usually assume a few degrees less. Still worked out well to McKinstry and even on the way back I still had OK grip. It had stopped snowing around 10 and also started to warm up. Definitely a good day to be out skiing in the park! Skate lanes on ridge road looked great.
