Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (blue), #2 (from #40 to #1), #40, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra v40

Temperature was -10C at start, -6C or so at P12 after the return. We had intended to head out from P10 but it was jammed at 10:30 so we drove to P12 instead. Snow conditions were excellent: climbing up 2 was very easy, with good grip, and all steep downhill runs afforded easy control because of the new snow. On a different note, a skate skier we met at Western Shelter said the classic tracks (two sets?)on 33 had caused him a few problems. Overall, the skiing on 2 and 40 was as good as it gets.
