Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Glide Wax: Rode GLF Blue., Grip Wax: Rode Special Violet Klister covered with Rode multigrade violet or violet hardwax
We were out on the Fortune parkway this morning. It appeared to have been groomed this morning, which made for fairly forgiving conditions while we were out. The tracks were reasonably firm but starting to get a bit sugary as people skied in them, with the skate lanes in similar condition. Burma looked to be in great shape and groomed this morning as well. The fast conditions will be enjoyed by anyone who is interested in racking up kilometres like they did in the old days.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
