Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, MacKenzie-King Rd , #15 (blue), Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: blue extra
Did a run up to the Mackenzie King Estate road from P5 and sampled trail 15 (blue) on the way. Same conditions as yesterday, hard base no fresh grooming and leaves in the tracks. Had to stop several times to remove debris from my skis. Bring extra wax or use a good binder as wax tends to strip off depending on how far you go. More snow on the way should improve things..
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
