Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR30 over cold temp base binder
Skied P5 up Penguin along ridge road to the lookout, then back along the parkway to return to P5. Excellent new grooming of the old icy snow with a tiny dusting of new snow/recently drifted snow over top. Overall, conditions were excellent and quite quick on the larger downhills (eg blacks). A great afternoon to be out - even though it seemed much colder (to me at least) than it actually was.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
