Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #5 (green), #26, Glide Wax: CH7 Violet, Grip Wax: VR40 Blue
In our group we has blue and green grip wax. All worked, at first. By the end all skis had no grip wax left, even ones with a good layer of base binder. Most trails has good tracks. Surprisingly, there were only a few spots with ice. Parkways are better than #26 or #5. Skate skiers seems to be moving well.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
