Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #4, #14, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: swix yellow LF, Grip Wax:

Surprisingly good skiing. Groomers were out last night. P3 to the split at McKenzie was excellent. It was very good to the top of Black's lake hill. After that it was very rough with some bare patches until the T with fortune parkway. Ridge towards Huron was very rough. Ridge to Penguin was very nice.

The parkway had degenerated to complete bare patches in the sun exposed areas past Black's lake hill in only one day which is not a good sign given the projected highs today!

Race trails were in great shape. Best bet might be skiing from Camp Fortune up through the race trails. Enjoy!
