Trails Skied: #51, #53, Glide Wax: F4 Universal, Grip Wax: Universal Klister

Planned on skiing the entire length of 53 from P17 but opted for the trail 51 shortcut to Lac Phillipe as the classic tracks were shallow to non-existent in many spots. Also the wooded areas, particularly the pine and spruce stretches were littered with needles, cones and dirt which readily stuck to my klistered skis slowing me down. If this mild weather keeps up classic skiing will soon be coming to a quick end for this season. Here's hoping for more snow before April...

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
