Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, #30, Glide Wax: LF7, Grip Wax:

What a glorious day. Bright sunshine, trees set against a beautiful blue sky and perfectly white snow everywhere you looked.
Did #30, #1 to Huron cabin (nice long potluck with friends), onto Champlain Lookout, CP to T-junction, FP to gossip corner and back on #1 and #30 to P7.
Excellent grooming by Demsis. Perfect for skating. Perfectly set tracks and good conditions on waxless skis throughout, says my friend Qi with whom I was skiing. Small patch of ice showing going down to Wattsford Lookout and a bit icy in a couple a spots going down #30 closer to P7.
The cherry on the cake today... Cookies leftover from the Cookie Beiner race. Yum yum! Unfortunatly most of the kids were already done so we only saw a few.
TTomorrow morning should be good... bright and early.
